Are you wondering why No Ordinary Liz has gone multicultural? It’s because I was introduced to ¡CUATRO chefs, that’s why. Yep, last week, I along with my Tampa Bay Blogger friends was invited to a VIP tasting of their top-notch menu/cocktails that was out of this world! We sipped, mingled, laughed and tasted the night away. It seemed like one dish was spectacular and nothing couldn’t beat what I was tasting and then BOOM, here comes another! Same with the cocktails. They just kept getting better with each sip! We tasted restaurant selections as well as catering offerings that you won’t find on the menu.
So what’s behind the word ¡CUATRO anyways?
From the website: The inspiration for ¡Cuatro not only came from the word “Fore!” shouted across the TPC Tampa Bay golf course, but also from the four culinary influences Chefs Michael Toscano and Wes Morton bring from their own family tables: Mexican, Italian, Cajun and American home cooking. Together, they’ve created a seasonal menu of layered culinary traditions that celebrates curiosity, passion and Florida’s local ingredients. Unexpected flavors sizzle in classic dishes, like Chorizo Meatball Jambalaya and Grilled Niman Ranch Pork Chops with creamy polenta and peperonata – all expertly paired with thoughtfully chosen wines.
¡CUATRO resides on a beautiful golf course overlooking acres of greenery! The moment you walk into this premier clubhouse tucked away in Lutz, FL you feel like you’re a celebrity, that celebrity status feeling comes from the beautiful décor, the luxurious paintings on the wall, the marble floors, the 5 star treatment from the staff…DO I SAY MORE?

Talk about getting cheese wasted…I did 🙂 This Cheese & Meat Board consisted of Serrano Ham, Calabese Salami, Maytag Bleu Cheese, Grafton Cheddar and Idiazabel Hard Cheese. Make sure to get you some!!
This Chorizo Meatball Jambalaya dish is just full of all sorts of yumminess! So many creative flavors all bundled into one!
Who doesn’t love a hefty bin of wings? These Jerk Chicken Wings literally fell off the wing. Boy, sure wish I had some right about now.
It was a match made in mason jar heaven! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Mousse!
Who says you can’t have PEAS in your guacamole? This was a different way to eat my guac! Spring Pea Guacamole with Sunflower seeds! YUM!
This colorful SALSA was mouth-watering good! So full of flavor and I kept going back for 3rds!
LOOK, something purrty is floating in my Cactus Hat Margarita! I would’ve sipped and sipped and sipped on these ALL EVENING! So refreshing!
No Ordinary Bloody Mary for No Ordinary Liz and I must say, I approve! WOW, this was pretty tasty and the fact that it involved BACON…WINNING!! Just one of the fancy signature cocktails of the evening, ¡CUATRO Bloody Mary!
This restaurant & bar isn’t off limits to the outside world so to speak. They cater to weddings, private parties or any other event you can think of.
