It’s an honor and privilege to get the chance to guest write over at Transfiguring Adoption! I have to tell ya, this was a pretty neat experience and LOVED taking a stroll down childhood lane. While you’re over reading my tale of a post, stop by and check out their awesome page, tweets, app and insights on how you can get engaged in the foster and adoption world!!!
ONCE UPON A TIME in a small town tucked away in the Great Smokies, lived a little orphan girl who didn’t seem to have a care in the world. Her clothes were worn and tattered. Her hair was dangling in her face and as she was running, the wind would strategically place it behind her ears. Every time you saw this little girl, she was always carrying an empty milk jug with the top randomly cut out and storming off into the woods. One might ask. Where was she going? Who was she going to see?

I’m heading over there to check out this post now, that’s so cool that you got to write about it. I can tell right away that it’s going to be an interesting one. Thanks for sharing and linking to it! Have a great day!
Thank you so much!! Hope you enjoy reading.
You are a great story writer, I can tell. I’m off to read the rest. I am going to pass your site along to a friend I know who is adopting.
Thank you so much! I feel that writing makes me more creative. Please do and let me know how it goes!! Happy to help with any questions he/she may have!
Thanks for sharing a part of your story. I love how you prefaced your story. Guest posting is a wonderful way to share your story to a different set of audience.
Thank you and yes it is. I’m loving guest posting!!
Adoption is such an amazing thing! I have a cousin who was just able to adapt a baby. It’s amazing to see families come together through adoptions and that lives be changed for the better.
That makes my heart smile to hear that! Thank you for making my day!
Now that is a wonderful ‘tale’. I myself had my own imaginary friend and I personally think that it’s fine since personally, it helped me become more creative. It helped shaped me into the person I am today! 😀
I couldn’t agree more! Glad to hear that as well.
Loved the story! I agree that imaginary friends and activities are not bad at all! I’m glad that this little girl grew up to be a very happy woman!
